You can stay in Australia for up to five years as the guardian of an international student with the Student Guardian visa (subclass 590).

Eligibility:

• The applicant must be a parent, guardian, or other relative who is at least 21 years old.
• The applicant is financially capable of providing for both himself and the student throughout your visit.
• The applicant is able to offer housing, welfare, and other forms of assistance.
• If you are given this visa, you must maintain comprehensive health coverage throughout your whole stay. You should be covered by your insurer for any necessary medical care, including transportation.
• An actual temporary participant is required for the Applicant.
• The applicant must adhere to the Department of Home Affairs' character standards.
