Child Visa (Subclass: 101)


The visa allows a child to stay in Australia permanently and lives with their parents

Applicant must be a dependent child of a parent who is an Australian citizen, eligible New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent visa.
Applicant be under 18 years, a full-time student aged over 18 and under 25, or over 18 and unable to work due to a disability
Applicant must be single and dependent on the parent .
Applicant must be in Australia when the application is made and when we make our decision.
Dependent Child Visa (Subclass 445)

This visa allows a child to stay in Australia temporarily while the Department of Home Affairs processes their parent's permanent Partner visa application.

Child Visa (Subclass: 101)

A child visa lets a child who lives outside of Australia to move to Australia to live with their parents permanently.
1. Applicant must be a dependent child of a parent who is an Australian citizen, eligible New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent visa.
2. Applicant must be under 18 years, a full-time student aged over 18 and under 25 and financially dependent on the parent, or over 18 and unable to work due to a disability.
3. Applicant must be single and dependent on the parent.
4. Applicants must be outside Australia when the application is made.

The visa allows a child to stay in Australia permanently and lives with their parents
• Applicant must be a dependent child of a parent who is an Australian citizen, eligible New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent visa.
• Applicant be under 18 years, a full-time student aged over 18 and under 25, or over 18 and unable to work due to a disability
• Applicant must be single and dependent on the parent
• Applicant must be in Australia when the application is made and when we make our decision
